Professor e estudantes de Medicina do Uni-FACEF participam de congresso sobre cefaleia
A convite do Prof. Dr. Carlos Alberto Bordini, docente na área de Neurologia do curso de Medicina do Uni-FACEF, os estudantes Bianca Sobral Bellemo (10º semestre), Letícia Haddad de Sá e Lucas Rodrigues Felício (ambos do 4º semestre) participaram do XXXIII CONGRESSO BRASILEIRO DE CEFALEIA, realizado em São Paulo (SP), de 24 a 26 de outubro de 2019.
As áreas temáticas do XXXIII CONGRESSO BRASILEIRO DE CEFALEIA eram:
- Os novos tratamentos específicos para enxaqueca: a era dos medicamentos anti-CGRP;
- Avanços na fisiopatologia das cefaleias;
- Cefaleias e prevalência no Brasil;
- O paciente com enxaqueca crônica: diagnóstico e tratamento;
- Cefaleia na mulher: da menarca a menopausa;
- Cefaleia na gestação e lactação;
- Anticoncepção e enxaqueca na mulher;
- Cefaleias na Infância;
- Cefaleias na emergência: sinais de alerta para as cefaleias secundárias; e
- Tratamento da enxaqueca na Unidade de Emergência.
O Professor Bordini ministrou duas palestras no evento: “Anticorpos Monoclonais Anti-CGRP na profilaxia da migrânea” e “Aspectos fisiopatológicos da Cefaleia em salvas”.
O Congresso contou também com palestrantes internacionais como a Dra. Cristina Tassorelli, diretora de Centro de Ciências de Cefaleia e diretora da Unidade de Neuroreabilitação do Instituto Nacional de Neurologia “Fundação IRCCS C. Mondino”, de Pavia (Itália) e Dr. Stephen D. Silberstein professor de neurologia e diretor do Jefferson Headache Center, na Thomas Jefferson University (EUA).
