Estudantes de Engenharia Civil do Uni-FACEF têm aula prática de sondagem
Estudantes do 5º semestre de Engenharia Civil, das turmas do Diurno e do Noturno, supervisionados pelo Prof. Esp. Emerson Moraes e pelo Prof. Dr. Thales Jati, participaram de aula prática de sondagem, realizada na sexta feira (06), no estacionamento da Unidade II.
O conteúdo da aula foi uma prática de sondagem a trado em solo, com equipamento hidráulico fornecido pela empresa Cenafer e de sondagem tipo SPT-T em solo, com equipamento da empresa MTW Sondagens. A sondagem a trado, segundo o especialista Walter Costa, pode ser manual ou mecanizada e “é um método de investigação geológico-geotécnica que utiliza como instrumento o trado, um tipo de amostrador de solo constituído por lâminas cortantes, que podem ser espiraladas (trado helicoidal ou espiralado) ou convexas (trado concha). O método tem por finalidade a coleta de amostras deformadas, determinação do nível d’água e identificação dos horizontes do terreno, sendo uma das formas mais simples de investigação do solo”.
Além dos dois docentes, a aula prática teve a colaboração do Engº. Civil José Marcelo Dermínio, da Cenafer, e da Engª. Civil Thalita Gomides, da MTW Sondagens, que esclareceram dúvidas dos estudantes e comentaram sobre a técnica, sua importância e sobre o mercado de sondagens.
O Uni-FACEF agradece ao apoio e suporte recebido das empresas Cenafer e MTW Sondagens, que permitiram a realização da aula prática e, em consequência disso, possibilitaram aos estudantes do 5º semestre de Engenharia Civil unir teoria e prática e melhorar conhecimentos e competências.
