Uni-FACEF entrega flores para estudantes, professoras e funcionárias
Em comemoração ao Dia Internacional da Mulher, o Uni-FACEF entregou um botão de rosa para cada aluna, professora e funcionária. Essa data, foi oficializada em 1921, mas uma grande manifestação, nos Estados Unidos, em 1908, com cerca de 1500 mulheres, lutando por igualdade econômica e política e um grave incidente, em 1911, no mesmo país, quando cerca de 130 operárias morreram carbonizadas em uma fábrica têxtil, após manifestação por melhores condições de trabalho e melhores salários, ambos os fatos concorreram para marcar o cenário de lutas por igualdade e melhores condições de vida para as mulheres em todo o mundo, no começo do século XX.
Em 8 de março de 1917, cerca de 90 mil operárias manifestaram-se contra o Czar Nicolau II, apontando as más condições de trabalho, a fome e a participação russa na guerra – em um protesto conhecido como “Pão e Paz”. A data consagrou-se, então, o “Dia da Mulher”, que mais tarde passou a ser celebrado mundialmente.
No Brasil, as movimentações em prol dos direitos da mulher surgiram no início do século 20, com exigência de melhores condições de trabalho e de qualidade de vida. A luta feminina ganhou força com a conquista do direito ao voto, em 1932, conforme garantia expressa na Constituição promulgada por Getúlio Vargas. A partir dos anos 1970, emergiram no país organizações que passaram a incluir, na pauta, discussões sobre a igualdade entre os gêneros, a sexualidade e a saúde da mulher. Na década de 1980, no Estado de São Paulo, é criado o Conselho Estadual da Condição Feminina, e a primeira Delegacia Especializada da Mulher.
