Reitor do Uni-FACEF participa de simpósio em favor das instituições municipais de ensino superior
Desde a quarta-feira (27), o Prof. Dr. José Alfredo de Pádua Guerra, Reitor do Uni-FACEF, está em São João da Boa Vista (SP), participando do X Simpósio da AIMES (Associação das Instituições Municipais de Ensino Superior).
Nesse evento, reitores e gestores das instituições públicas municipais de ensino superior de São Paulo se reuniram na UNIFAE, naquela cidade, para debater a necessidade do fortalecimento político institucional junto ao governo estadual, federal, Ministério Público e outras esferas de decisão. Atualmente, existem mais de 30 instituições municipais de ensino e fundações, em todo o Estado, somando mais de 60 mil estudantes.
“Este encontro consolida ainda mais nossa Associação, já que podemos compartilhar nossos problemas, angustias e buscar por diversas soluções. Nesta edição procuramos pautar assuntos técnicos e políticos, com a presença de deputados estaduais, federais e um senador e o próprio secretário de Estado”, afirmou o Prof. Dr. José Alfredo de Pádua Guerra, reitor do Uni-FACEF e Secretário Geral da AIMES.
Esteve presente ao evento, nessa sexta-feira (29), o Senador da República Sérgio Olímpio Gomes (Major Olímpio), que se solidarizou com a causa das instituições municipais e compromete-se a participar ativamente da luta pelo fortalecimento das instituições e por mais políticas públicas que favoreçam seus estudantes.
